bags under eyes — mild swelling or puffiness under the eyes — are common as you age. With aging, the tissues around your eyes, including some of the muscles supporting your eyelids, weaken. Normal fat that helps support the eyes can then migrate forward into the lower eyelids, causing the lids to appear puffy.
-Fluid from Allergies and Sinus issues also may accumulate in the space below your eyes, adding to a swollen appearance.
Cosmetic surgery called Blepharoplasty CAN fix the fat pads that migrate, and lower eyelid lifts can tighten the skin in that region.

Dark circles- Due to thin skin around the eye which causes the vascularture (vessels) to show through. NOTHING, not even cosmetic surgery can change this. However, some dark circles are due to the eye bags (puffiness) causing shadows, increasing the appearance of darkness.

Look for ingredients like Caffeine. Caffeine reduces the appearance of circles and puffiness by reducing inflammation, constricting the blood vessels under the skin.

Aside from caffeine, you can use preparation H, a hemorrhoidal cream that contains a vasoconstrictor called phenylephrine HCL to help swelling. Witch Hazel is a mild natural vasoconstricor as well.

Also, avoid products that claim to plump the skin around the eyes to reduce the appearance of fine lines. Anything that plumps is an IRRITANT! Irritation causes aging and the furthering of wrinkles and everything you’re fighting in the first place.

Please, do not fall victim to the Placebo Effect (hype). I 100% agree with Kathy who is an aesthetician.

Corrector Concealer Color Theory

Lets Talk about Complimentary Colors like..
Yellow and Purple
Blue and Orange
Red and Green

When you mix these colors together they make a shade of Brown or on the skin it would be tones of Biege and Tan!
By applying certain colors of makeup you can actually counter act unwanted discolorations in the skin!
To help you visualize this I want you to think back to finger painting as a child when you start off your colors are vibrant and stand alone but when everything gets mixed together your painting colors change to different tones of Brown!
When we used certain colors of Concealer it will neutralize Redness, Blue or purple undereye circles, Bruises, Jaundice, Scars, Blemishes, Birthmarks and many other skin discolorations!

Below I will list what shade to use on the different Discolorations I have Mentioned
Any Redness a Cut, Pimple, Scarring, broken Blood Vessels = Green Concealer
Any Blueness a Bruise Under ,Eye Circles ,Veins=Orange Concealer
Any Purple a Bruise, Under Eye Circles, Veins = Yellow Concealer
Any Yellow Jaundice for example = Purple or Violet Concealer
Any Brown or Gray like age spots or Conditions that cause these spots = Pink Concealer

First you apply the Corrector Concealer that will work for your Discoloration
then blend in a Patting or Stippling Motion
You may want to apply a setting powder at this point but it is not nessecary
Next you take your regular Concealer or Foundation and apply in a stippling or Patting Motion
Finish with a Setting Powder or a Foundation powder for the Best Coverage
