anime Best concealer for purple under eye circles? What do you use?
Tuesday, December 6th, 2011I’ve tried Revlon under eye concealer, Rimmel Hide the Blemish, Maybelline Coverstick and Superstay 24hr.. Nothing works! Any good recomendations?
Bobbi Brown is a bit expensive but it’s the best. For purple use BB Corrector under concealer, it "neutralises the purple/blue colours in dark circles. And then use the concealer/powder to match your skin tone and lighten the area.
I have VERY bad dark circles (dark brown!) and Bobbi Brown corrector & concealer are the only ones that have worked for me. Bobbi Brown should be made a saint!
If BB is too expensive for you, you could try Mac? I think they’re a bit cheaper but still one of the best brands out there for matching skin tone.

Friday, November 25th, 2011Yesterday I got a blemish concealer by revlon and it was blemish concealer instead of under eye concealer. Are they the same thing?
No the Revlon blemish concealer has Acne medication this drys the pimples
on the skin it has salicylic acid this can be drying on eye area this for the cheek
or any area on your face that has pimples.
eye concealer is more hydrating and very smooth doesnt have any type acne medication.

Is it necessary to put eye cream under eye concealer?
Tuesday, November 8th, 2011The SA at sephora told me to make sure that I put eye cream under my under eye concealer,.. But why? Won’t this make it greasy? Could I use a serum or a primer istead?

I’m 17, and I’ve noticed fine wrinkles underneath my eyes because I never moisturized my skin well D: (I also go to bed late, which also wasn’t a great help).
Moisturizing your face is WAY more important than makeup in general. If you don’t take care of your skin, it won’t matter how much makeup you put over it — It just won’t look healthy and beautiful.
If you blend out the eye cream very well (and even dab it with a cloth if needed), it won’t be greasy. It will penetrate your skin and dry off in a minute or two. All you have to do is put a translucent setting powder underneath your eye after you’ve applied your concealer or foundation and it will take away any shine.
