There are a Few Firming Eye Creams That Really Work

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

We cant avoid aging and sooner or later we start to experience visual signs like wrinkles, fine lines, crows feet, blemishes, ages spots, etc. However one of the most sensible part of the skin and that makes you look older than anything else is wrinkles around the eyes, as well as dark circles.

The cause of wrinkles and dark circles around the eyes is the loss of skin elasticity due to poor fluid circulation. So the first thing that you should look in an eye cream is collagen and elastin.

Collagen and elastin are the building blocks of the skin fibers, good firming eye creams should contain the necessary ingredients to stimulate the production of those substances.

CynergyTK which is one of the most effective natural ingredients from New Zeland, has been proven to increase the natural growth of collagen and elastin in the body.

Once the collagen in the body start to increase wrinkles will gradually reduce and the skin will become more elastic thus erasing eye wrinkles.

Firming eye creams can be very powerful in improving your facial skin appearance, but you should only use eye creams with organic ingredients. The problem that some products have is that they contain harsh chemicals and if you expose those chemicals to the sensible skin of your eyes it can irritate the skin and be dangerous to your eyes.

Eyeliss is one of the most recommended natural ingredients for wrinkle eye creams, is completely safe to use and very effective. You should also take anti oxidants and protect your facial skin from excessive sun exposure if you want to avoid premature wrinkles.

Zap Those Dark Circles Under Your Eyes

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

Isn’t a major nightmare to wake up in the morning to discover you have dark eye circles like a panda bear? Do you want to completely eradicate those nasty looking dark circles that are under your eyes?

Dark circles under your eyes are a major bane to looking good. Who wants to look like a panda bear? No other facial flaw is more noticeable to everyone than dark circles are. The appearance of dark circles increases how old you look, makes you tired looking and signs of someone who is unhealthy. They make others think that you are stressed or you have poor living habits.

What are the causes of dark eye circles? The following are a few of the factors that might contribute to the condition :

1. The culprit is really a combination of things like heredity, allergies, aging, and of course – lack of sleep!
2. Sometimes even if you get enough sleep and are stress free, as you age there is likelihood that you may develop dark circles anyway. Why? This is a result of the layer of fat underneath your eyes that actually thicken in time and gives the illusion of dark circles when you are in certain lighting.
3. Another major cause is sun damage. In addition to that extra fat layer that contributes to dark circles, years of sun damage causes microscopic blood vessels underneath your eyes to loose their stability and add to the problem.

Another major cause is sun damage. In addition to that extra fat layer that contributes to dark circles, years of sun damage causes microscopic blood vessels underneath your eyes to loose their stability and add to the problem.

So in order to stay as free from dark eye circles as possible, make it a point to have sufficient sleep each night, eat healthy food and avoid the sun (or at least use proper sun protection).

Have a hot date? Below are 3 simple ways that you can take advantage of to help with your tired looking eyes.

1. For a quick fix try using a concealer. Using yellow will neutralize the blues, purples, and husky hues on the skin. This does not rid the problem, but a temporaily solution that can build your confidence for the day to alleviate the ‘tired look’.
2. Use tea bags and cucumbers! There definitely is something to seeing those commercials with women having cucumbers and tea bags on top of their eyes. Both tea bags and cucumbers reduce inflammation and decrease swelling. Tea bags are especially good to use for dark swollen circles because there is tannin inside of the tea that helps with eliminating the puffiness. So stock up on teabags and cucumbers!
3. Use more anti-oxidants. Antioxidant treatments help to reduce fluid buildup under the eyes, which decreases the look of the dark circles. Go for treatments that involve a lot of vitamin C and GHK copper peptides. Also, vitamin K is great for restoring stability and strength to the blood vessels under the eyes, which reduces their proliferation.

Getting rid of your dark circles permanently is a long process. However, if you persist everyday by getting enough sleep, living a stress free life, eating healthily and avoiding the sun, you may well be cured of dark eye circles eventually!

Winning Tactics for Combating Eye Wrinkles

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

Dealing with eye wrinkles can be frustrating.  The area around the eyes is very sensitive to chemicals and other harmful substances.  It gets damaged very easily.  If you have undereye wrinkles, then it has already been damaged somewhat.  So, the first step to reducing undereye wrinkles is to avoid ingredients that can increase that damage.

There are literally hundreds of different chemicals that cosmetic companies use frequently.  Most of them fall under the category of petrochemicals.  You can often identify them by looking for the prefix “petro.”

Some of these chemicals are known carcinogens.  If you use a carcinogen on your skin, free radicals will form within the skin’s cells.  Free radical damage is the major underlying cause of eye wrinkles.  In order to prevent further damage, you should avoid the following ingredients.  This is not a complete list, but the ones here are some of the most common.

  • Petrolatum
  • Mineral oil
  • Paraffin wax or liquid
  • Oxybenzone
  • Benzophenone
  • Ethanol
  • Methanol
  • Ethyl, methyl, isopropyl and other kinds of parabens

The most effective ingredients for repairing undereye wrinkles are nutrients.  Specifically, they are short chains of amino acids known as peptides, similar to, but smaller than proteins.  Peptides have been shown to stimulate the production of new cells and fibers, because that’s what makes up the cells, fibers and tissues all over the body.

The best cream for reducing eye wrinkles contains several different peptides, which provide most of the essential amino acids, the building blocks of collagen and elastin.  It also contains antioxidants, the body’s main defense against free radical damage.

There are some unique antioxidants that are particularly effective for repairing undereye wrinkles and improving circulation in the area, so that you don’t get bags or dark circles.  One of them is Chrysin, which is found in blue passion flower.

In some recent clinical studies, creams containing it were shown to reduce bags, wrinkles and dark circles in the majority of volunteers that participated.  The ingredients to look for are sold under the proprietary names of HALOXYL and EYELISS. In less than 28 days 62% of volunteers showed a significant reduction in eye wrinkles around and under the eyes.

The compounds are safe and all natural.  They’ve been used by Hollywood stars and other celebrities.  They are formulated in Europe and only found in the best gels

In addition to avoiding the bad ingredients mentioned above and using a gel containing the “good stuff”, try to drink more purified water and get plenty of sleep, especially if you have dark circles.  They are caused by a build-up of toxins in the fluids circulating just beneath the skin.

You don’t have to put up with undereye wrinkles.  If you take the right approach, your face will no longer give away your age.  How much is that worth to you?

Most of us would pay just about anything to prevent and/or repair eye wrinkles, but the best products are actually very affordable.

3 Reasons Why You Should be Using a New Generation Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

I don’t know about you, but I’ll bet that you don’t like those dark circles, wrinkles and sagging bags under your eyes any more than I do? However, a new generation anti wrinkle eye cream can help these problem areas.

Here’s 3 good reasons why you should be using an anti wrinkle eye cream.

1. Times have changed and so has technology – skin creams coming onto the market now are vastly different than even a year ago. New nano (1 billionth of a meter) technology means skin creams can penetrate through the top epidermis skin layer to stimulate new protein cells.

2. Natural substances are being treated and blended to form new cutting edge ingredients unheard of before.

3. If you continue to use products that cannot regenerate new skin cells to thicken your skin. You can’t expect any noticeable improvement in wrinkles on your face, and sagging bags under and you eyes.

Lets look at some of these new ingredients:

Probably the biggest breakthrough new substance is Cynergy TK – It contains functional keratin which is similar to the basic protein found in human skin. Its been likened to applying a liquid skin and can revitalize and stimulate new skin cells to grow.

Using a unique patented process of keratin solublization, ensuring its bioactive polymers remain fully available to the skin, has created functional keratin.

Cynergy TK has been proven in clinical trials to actually stimulate your very own collagen and elastin to grow again. The resulting increase in these two vital proteins will slowly but surely reduce fine lines and wrinkles helping your skin to regain its youthful appearance.

Eyeliss a very expensive ingredient from Europe. It’s very quick and effective at reducing bags and puffiness under the eyes caused by a build up of fluid beneath the skin. It uses advanced peptide technology.

You can expect an improvement in skin firmness and elasticity with continual use of Eyeliss. Dark circles under the eyes typically reduce, and can even disappear within 4 to eight weeks.

Haloxyl an amazing substance targets the accumulation of waste products in the delicate skin under the eyes. It has been shown in clinical trials to reduce dark circles and bags under the eyes. 60% of volunteers reported a significant reduction in dark circles within 2 months of constant use.

Finally, the latest technological innovation is creating new anti-wrinkle skin care creams with superior capabilities than ever before. A good quality anti wrinkle eye cream should include these three natural new generation substances and more.

Visit my website, to see which natural safe cutting edge anti wrinkle eye cream, I now chose to use on my skin every day.

Most Common Causes of Puffy Eyes and Dark Circles

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

A lot of people go to a lot of efforts in hiding their under-eye dark circles and eye bags with a lot of makeup. Despite one’s best efforts, however, these skin imperfections are still very much visible. In fact, people with raccoon and puffy eyes often look haggard, stressed or downright older than they really are.

But aside from buying the best concealer, highlighter, foundation and other makeup, you can also look at the problem from a different angle. Maybe you need to understand what are causing these problems so that you can find a better way of dealing with the issue.

Basically, eye bags are formed when the muscles found underneath your upper and lower eyelids become less elastic. When this happens, the fat underneath your skin starts to stick out or protrude. On the other hand, dark circles usually develop when the veins on the surface of the skin appear visible. Here are the most common underlying reasons for your eye woes.

Allergies And Asthma

Whenever you have asthma attack or allergies, there is a tendency for you to rub your eyes. Anything that actually contributes to your urge to rub the sensitive area around the eyes can cause skin discoloration or dark circles. Although rare, those who have eczema may suffer from what is called Dennis Lines or conspicuous red lines under the eyes.

Diet

Many people do not realize that what they eat or do not eat can actually affect not only their health, but their appearance as well. Those who do not get enough vitamins, minerals and antioxidants in their diet may experience raccoon eyes. For people who like salty foods, eye bags may form because of water retention brought about by a high-sodium diet. Also, drinking too much alcohol can surely give you puffy eyes the following day.

Genes

People who were born with darker skin tones are more susceptible to getting dark circles because they produce more melanocytes, cells that are responsible for producing pigments. If you have parents, siblings, and relatives that have dark eye circles, there is a high probability that you will have them too, especially if you do not take precautionary measures to prevent them from developing.

Environmental Factors

Environmental toxins and the rays of the sun are very harmful to your skin, especially to the area near your eyes. Thus, if you are not the type of person who wears shades or uses sun block, then you will be likely to suffer often from raccoon eyes.

Sleep Deprivation And Fatigue

Your skin turns pale when you are very tired or when you do not get enough sleep. When this happens, your skin discoloration, especially under your eyes, becomes more pronounced and visible.

Blood Circulation Problems

One primary cause of discoloration of the skin underneath the eyes is poor blood circulation. As you know, the blood that passes through the blood vessels near your eyes has a bluish tint. If you have circulatory problems, the veins will be more pronounced. The color of your under eye circles can even be darker if the blood and other fluids leak out from the blood vessels.

Age

You must accept the fact that as you age, the skin underneath your pearly orbs will start to thin, which will make blood vessels beneath the skin become visible. If you do not start using eye products now, there will be a big chance that these eye problems will become more permanent.

Since the areas around the eyes are ultra-sensitive, it would really be advisable for you to use eye creams or gels regularly. One product that has been known to help people from all over to minimize their puffy eyes and dark circles is Eyevive. For more information, visit http://www.eyevive.com/ now.

Help I have deeep eye wrinkles at 14?

Friday, February 26th, 2010

Hi, i have two very deep eye wrinkles (on each eye) and several litle ones. BLah i dont know what to do, no one in my family has any type of eye wrinkles. Please, I have the worst eye wrinkles in my school. My 35 year old male teach has less eye wrinkles than i have. Please help.

I put on sunscreen and lots and lots of moisturizer on my eyes…please help!

Perhaps you’re just a paranoid teenager. I remember being in 7th grade thinking I had intense forehead lines..I think I seriously made it bigger than it actually was. Relax. You are not weird for getting lines..Its just where you skin has gotten a crease. Maybe try to do less facial expressions, drink water and sleep at a good hour.maybe at 10.
And if all does not make you feel better, try some face masks or anti wrinkle creams.
Remember you should always treat your skin like silk so it stays in the greatest condition.

Which is the best hemohrroid cream for under eye puffiness?

Friday, February 26th, 2010

Any brand and/or link to a good and tested product which you can recommend me?

I don’t know about the word hemohrrioid but to get the puffiness off your eyes.I think you should put a bunch of spoons in the freezer, leave it there for about 2 hours, get it and rub it around the area(just like boxing)……..But if it is HEMMORAGING(bleeding) go to the nearest pharmacy and orders some OPTHALMIC BACITRACIN.thats what we use after eyelift surgery.

What brand of under eye concealer actually works?

Friday, February 26th, 2010

I have tried many kinds for my circles and they only seem to make them look worse. Is there a cream form with a matte finish that doesn’t look shiny? Even with makeup on top, it still makes my circles look worse.
Wow, now to decide.

first of all, you will draw attention to your undereye circles by applying too much concealer. Make sure you hydrate (moisturize) the area with a good eye cream. Apply a creamy or liquid concealer that is good quality under the eyes. Very lightly. Really. Don’t try to cover it all, just lighten the look. Theatre makeup artists use concealer and powder under the eyes when they ‘age’ actors in plays.

The best moisturizer and under eye cream?

Friday, February 26th, 2010

Whats the BEST one? I dont care if it’s a little pricey but not off the charts. Does benefit have good stuff? Let me know your favorites.

i absolutely love creme de la mer, but it’s pretty pricey. i think la mer also has a good eye cream. i really like clinque’s dramatically different moisturizing gel also. i don’t use eye creams so i can’t really help you there. but those two moisturizers are my favorite.
