User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars The only cream worthy of my face
As long as this stuff is manufactured, I will never buy another daily moisturizing cream. It has healed my dry, patchy skin, given me a glow, and made me look younger. There is no fountain of youth, but this is pretty close. A nice, light and pleasant scent in this cream that is easily absorbed. I have very sensitive skin, and this is the only product that I can use on a daily basis without adverse side-effects. Give it a try.

1 Star Not a happy customer
This seller claims that if not satisfied with the product, they will issue you a refund as long as you send the product back within 30 days. Well is almost a month since I send the products back and I havent seeing no refund yet. I tried calling and sending the seller messages with no luck they wont return my calls or write. I also think that phone number given is fake, because nobody ever answers the phone.

5 Stars Extraordinary!
I have both day and night cream and I’ll never use anything else. My son introduced this line of Dead Sea products to me when he returned from Israel and brought me a variety of them as a gift. They’re pricey, but you get what you pay for!

The Best Eye Cream for the Money

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

The saying goes, “The eyes are the window to the soul”. And if that holds true, are your eyes in need of a touch up or even a complete overhaul? Our facial expressions and body language convey to the world our true feelings and intentions. As we grow old, the twinkle we once possessed loses some of its glimmer and is muted by visible signs of aging around our eyes. Is is possible to regain the vibrant luster that our eyes once had? The answer to that question is…”Absolutely!”.

Let’s use an old house as an example. This aging home has magnificently, beautiful windows beckoning all visitors to take a closer look inside. But the rest of the house is in bad shape. The paint has faded and is severely weathered having cracks and chips. The wood framing around the windows is rotten. The mortar between the bricks has begun to deteriorate. This once magnificent home has fallen into distress from years of neglect.

If you haven’t guessed it already, this home represents the signs of aging on your face due to overexposure to the sun’s UV rays, poor diet, lack of exercise, and maybe even a smoking addiction. Just like a home can be renovated, you can tap into your body’s rejuvenative powers with a corrective eye cream treatment and little bit of direction.

As one ages, collagen production, a major contributor to healthy looking skin, decreases in the body. For women, this decrease in collagen production goes into free-fall during menopause. Preventing collagen loss and stimulating the production of new collagen is important in maintaining healthy looking skin. Here’s where a specially formulated corrective eye cream will prove beneficial.

As mentioned before, collagen synthesis is an essential building block in having radiantly, beautiful skin. Ascorbyl Palmitate, is a revolutionary compound created by joining Vitamin C, known for its antioxidant talents, and Palmitic Acid. Vitamin C plays a key role in stimulating your body’s production of new collagen. As your natural collagen production is sparked, it quickly brings back your skin’s softness, strength and elasticity.

Since stimulating collagen synthesis does not happen overnight, another breakthrough eye cream ingredient called Silicon Dioxide hides your fine lines, wrinkles, and crow’s feet until your body can diminish their appearance on its own. The human eye cannot actually see a wrinkle. What the eye really detects is the shadow created by the wrinkle. Silicon dioxide comes in the form of billions of microscopic 3-D crystals that refract light resulting in the disappearance of the wrinkle.

In conclusion, the best eye cream treatments are going to at least have Silicon Dioxide and Ascorbyl Palmitate as active ingredients to fight off the signs of aging. Another anti aging ingredient that would be helpful is Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, or AH3 for short. AH3 is the latest, highly recognized alternative to Botox injections sweeping the skin care industry. There is a product that contains all 3 of the aforementioned “super” ingredients and its called LifeCell. LifeCell is an all-in-one anti wrinkle cream, firming cream, 24-hour moisturizer, age-spot reducer, corrective eye cream treatment, lip-plumper and make-up base!

Proper Eye Makeup Will Cheer up Your Appearance – Tips from the Experts

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

Eyes speak volumes, giving you individuality; however, a little eye makeup can just do wonders – empowering your twin gazers to spell their magic over everything. People belonging to ancient civilizations were sensible enough to recognize the importance of cosmetics and engaged in elaborate eye makeup.

The tradition continues even today and the modern beauties deem eye make up as the best way to heighten physical attractiveness. Hence, no matter what color or shape your eyes are, clever usage of eye make up can turn them to beauty assets, giving them greater depth and meaning.

How to get on with your eye make up?

Usage of eye shadow, eyeliner and mascara in keeping with essential beauty tips completes the makeup for your eyes, unless and until you have dark circles under you eyes. You may hide your dark circles with a few dots of concealer.

Eye Shadow

Available in a beautiful array of powders, creams and glittery dustings, eye shadows highlight and define the eyes by creating depth. Natural shades that go well with your skin tone will enhance your looks and add to your individuality. Therefore, select earthy tones such as beige, brown, gold or plum. Apply dark colored shadow on your eyelids if you have large eyes; this will make the eyes appear small. Using lighter color helps give eyes a larger effect.

Eyeliner

Give your eyes the real definition by applying a thin line of eyeliner. The line should be as close to the lash line as possible. If you want a heavy make up, you may go for a darker and thicker line. Going by standard beauty tips, you should stick to natural colors such as black or brown or else give in to your imagination. Pencil, liquid eyeliners are available in various colors.

To achieve the best definition, line both the lower and upper lid. Line the upper lid from the inside corner to the outside corner; for the lower lid draw a line just under the lashes.

Mascara

Mascara gives you a majestic gaze by framing your eyes in beautiful flaps of thick, dark, long eyelashes. Again, black and brown are hot favorites in mascara. Generally, two coats of mascara are applied; however, you will be required to give the first coating a little drying up time before you go ahead with the final finish.

Makeup is no less than art and so is eye makeup. The secret to success with this art is not overdoing. A valuable beauty tip for you would be – Indulge in eye makeup to the degree that it keeps the natural beauty of your eyes intact, giving them more glitter, expression and life.

Steps to Find the Top Rated Eye Cream

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

What would be considered the top rated eye cream? It would be a product that does not contain harmful chemicals. The best product is one that contains very specific and effective natural ingredients.

The area around your eyes has the thinnest skin on your body. Thus, it is very sensitive. In addition, as you age, it is an area that you can first notice lines and wrinkles forming. There is nothing that makes you look older than wrinkles, bags and dark circles appearing under your eyes.

Why should you avoid using eye creams that contain chemicals? The reason is that they can be harmful to your skin. Some products contain ingredients that are potential cancer-causing agents. Some cosmetic companies add parabens, which are preservatives that give the product a longer shelf life. Parabens have been found in the breast tissue of women suffering from breast cancer. Although inconclusive as to whether it caused the cancer, it is still advisable to avoid any product that uses this preservative.

It is much safer and more effective to use a natural top rated eye cream. One of the best in the world is manufactured in New Zealand. In fact, they even do their own research and development. They are not considered one of the big boys but they make superior natural skin care products.

One of the reasons why lines and wrinkles form is due to a loss of collagen and elastin. These two vital skin proteins are necessary for having youthful looking and feeling skin. Thankfully, some extremely effective natural ingredients help to stimulate the re-growth of collagen and elastin. This leads to a reduction in lines and wrinkles around the eyes.

The top rated eye cream will contain Cynergy TK. This amazing natural substance will boost the re-production of collagen and elastin. Within a few weeks, you will notice that the skin around your eyes looks much younger.

The top rated eye cream will also contain such ingredients as Babassu oil, which is a natural emollient that will soften the skin around your eyes, without leaving an oily residue. Nanobelle Coenzyme Q10 is a substance that penetrates deep into the skin and helps to repair damage caused by free radicals. This also helps to reduce lines and wrinkles on your skin.

Banish Dark Circles Under Eyes

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

At some point in our lives we all experience dark circles and puffiness around the eye area.  Dark circles and puffiness adds unwanted age to our appearance. There are many factors that contribute to dark circles under the eyes.  Below are the most common causes.

Genetics – If your parents have or had dark areas around and/or under the eyes, chances are you are predisposed to inherit this condition.  Furthermore, if your family members suffer from puffiness and bags under the eyes chances are you will inherit this trait.

Medications – Any medicine that causes the blood vessels to dilate will produce dark circles under and around the eye area.  The skin under and around the eye is very thin and thus the veins will show through producing a dark area.

Allergies – Hay fever, asthma or other allergies that causes watery and itching eyes can produce dark areas under the eyes.  Allergy sufferers have a tendency to rub away their itchy watery eyes thus damaging the blood vessels below the very thin skin of the eye area which causes the veins to show through.

Nutrition – Maintaining a well balanced diet with proper nutrition and being fully hydrated affects the appearance of your skin.  Your skin needs its vitamins to stay healthy just as the rest of the body.

Lack of Sleep and Fatigue – Sleep is your body’s rejuvenation mechanism.  Lack of sleep shows through in the eye area such as dark circles under eyes, puffiness and bags under the eyes.  Has anyone ever said to you “you look tired today”?  The appearance of your eyes and the surrounding area are the first to show tell tale signs of not enough sleep.

Hormones – Changes in hormones from menstruation, menopause or from medicines that influence hormones can change your skin tone and texture.  Again, blood dilatation which causes veins to enlarge will show through under the very thin skin in the eye area leaving dark areas.

Aging – The eye area is the first to show signs of aging with wrinkles, sagging skin and thinning skin.  The disappearance of fat pads which sits directly below the eyes causes shadows to reflect off the hollows of the eyes darkening the area below the eyes.  Additionally lack of elasticity and lack of moisture will darken the eye area.

The eye area needs special treatment to ward off signs of aging and dark circles.  There are many products on the market that address the needs of the eye area.  Additionally, there are many home made recipes to decrease the appearance and/or eliminate dark circles under the eyes.  Below are homemade recipes specifically for the eye area.

Almond Oil – Easily absorbed into the skin and is an excellent emollient with nourishing properties.  Almond oil promotes soft and smooth skin. Also used in massage therapy for its hydrating properties.  Note:  People who are allergic to it, or have nut allergies should avoid almonds and almond oil.  Massage around eye area gently without stretching the skin for two weeks and see the improvement.

Tea – A cold compress of rosemary. Excellent for its antioxidant properties, and secondly has a remarkable stimulating effect on the skin. Mix ½ cup fresh rosemary and a quart of water to a boil and steep for 20 minutes, strain and then chill.  Place cloth in liquid, wring out and place on eyes for 15 to 20 minutes, once a day or as needed.  Note:  rosemary essential oil has a highly stimulating action and may not be suitable for people with epilepsy or high blood pressure. The essential oil should also not be used during pregnancy.

Tea – A cold compress of Chamomile.  Chamomile tones all types of complexions. The anti-inflammatory effect of the essential oil applied topically improves skin regeneration, and a cold compress does wonders for puffy eyes. Chamomile is used in facial steams to reduce puffiness and cleanse the pores of the skin.  Steep tea bags and chill.  Place cotton balls in liquid and apply to dark circles leaving on 10 to 15 minutes.  Note:  Handling fresh chamomile plants may cause dermatitis in some individuals. It should not to be used when using anti-coagulant drugs. Please note that the essential oil is said to stimulate the uterus and should be used with care in pregnancy. Allergic reactions may occur – normally people allergic to daisies.

Lemon/Tomato Paste:  1 tsp. of tomato juice, ½ tsp. lemon juice, a pinch of turmeric powder and 1 tsp. of flour.  Apply around the eyes and leave on for 10 minutes.  Rinse thoroughly.  The lemon refreshes and stimulates white corpuscles.  Additionally, lemon is a bleaching agent for skin.

Above are just a few simple steps to eliminate dark circles under eyes.  Another alternative is to invest in a good concealer to lighten up the eye area.

Best Eye Contour Gel::Solution to Bags and Circles Under Your Eyes

Saturday, October 31st, 2009

If you want the best eye contour gel that is a solution to bags and circles under your eyes, you need the best ingredients.  No synthetic or cheap fillers.

All companies are in business to make a profit.  But rather than concentrate on that, a great company will deliver a product that really works.  That will take care of the profit.

Bags and Circles Under the Eyes

A research group, that used the right ingredients, had a 65% reduction in bags and dark circles.  The main ingredient is called ‘eyeliss’.  It is an ingredient that is protected by patent and not available to all skin care manufacturers.

What is “Eyeliss”?

The ingredients are:
Hesperidin – promotes capillary health
Glycerin – efficient moisturizer
Tryptophan – amino acid aids circulation
Palm oil – good, natural moisturizer
Valine- amino acid that promotes new skin

Dark Circles

Another ingredient called Haloxyl has had remarkable results when used in men’s and women’s eye contour gel.  A 60% reduction in dark circles under eyes have been reported.  Haloxyl is also an ingredient that is under patent protection used by only a few select companies.

What is “Haloxyl”?

It is a protein that is natural that encourages collagen and elastin to increase.   It contains:
Chrysin – an antioxidant that comes from the blue passion flower which is mainly responsible for reducing dark under eye circles.  Also palm oil and glycerin for moisturizing.

Combined, Synergistic Power

Combining eyeliss and haloxyl makes for one very powerful synergistic formula.  This means it will deliver better results combined rather than used separately.  I found one company that does just that.  But to make the eye gel even more effective they have added essential fatty acids and also vitamin A.  This was great to uncover since they are not a company that advertises as other companies do.  Most of their success comes from word of mouth.  This means that they have a lot of satisfied customers.  I am now one because of the results I personally get.

The company recommends that the eye gel be used daily, both for men and women.  You won’t need very much.  I found this to be true of all of their products.  They work well and go a long way.

Along with using the eye gel be sure to get plenty of rest each night.  Drink good clean water.  Eat good food and take a supplement of fish oil and multi-nutrient capsule.  This same skin care company also makes an excellent line of nutritional supplements.

The last point that I want to stress is this:  Never,  Ever put anything on your face, neck and especiallly around the eyes that you would not eat.  What I mean is this.  What you put on your face could and probably does end up in your mouth.  Which means it may end up in your bloodstream.  So it is better to be safe.  I go into more detail on this on my website listed below.  Thank you, Margaret Bell
