How long does it take the canadian preparation h to show drastic results on my eye puffiness.?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

I know what it’s used for, but I heard that you can also use it for eye puffiness. I don’t want a lecture, i just want to know how long I have to keep using it before I see drastic results. I have been using it 2 times a day.

Yes, often its applied to models to reduce eye puffiness and tighten the skin. It’s applied right before the show and before makeup…so it shouldn’t have taken days to work.

What under eye concealer works best for you?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

I have sorta raccoon eyes and I need to get some under eye concealer. which would you recommend that works best for you? thanks everyone! :)

i would suggest a light concealer under ur eyes i mean a lighter shade than ur skin or yellow concealer. dab it in with ur finger then apply foundation. if u see that its still dark apply some more concealer on the foundation and smooth it in. avoid using dark eyeshadow colours.

How do you get rid of bags under eyes, besides natural remedies?

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

I’m 17, Male, and I have had trouble sleeping all my life. Therefore, I have really huge bags under my eyes, and I want them gone before I order contacts or anything. I know about all the natural cures, tea bags and ice and cucumbers and all that, I’m wondering if there is any other way besides alternative medicines. And please, don’t just say "Get more sleep" because I have tried, you know.

Here are a few things that have helped for me:

don’t rub your eyes, gently tap your fingers around them instead. This increases circulation and therefore decreases bags.

A SMALL amount of hemorrhoid cream applied to the bags. Make sure you don’t get it in your eye and don’t rub it on, tap it lightly on or use a q-tip to gently apply it. This is not for long term use, but it does tighten your skin. A little goes a long way.

If you’re not too embarrassed, go to the store and buy anti aging wrinkle cream.

Buy a new pillow. If you sleep with your head slightly elevated it will allow better circulation and thus less bagginess.

If you have sleep issues, you might want to to consider talking to your doctor about a sleep aid. To help you sleep you might want to look into buying a pad to put on your mattress to make it more comfortable or practice calming your mind. Try to mentally relax your entire body and make sure you have a good pre sleep routine such as taking a hot shower and not stimulating your brain. So, some things to avoid are watching TV, talking on the phone, exercising within 3 hours of your bedtime, and reading a stimulating book.

Good luck.

Getting The Right Antiaging Eye Cream

Sunday, September 27th, 2009

The skin around the eye area is most delicate. And hence, it is the place where the first sign of aging start to appear. Some may even start seeing wrinkles around the eye areas as early in their twenties. Hence proper care of the skin around the eye area is totally important.

Likewise choosing the sufficient antiaging eye cream that is best for you is no easy task. First of all, you will need to find which area of the eye you wish to improve :

1. Around the eye
The most common problem of this region of the eye is wrinkles. Hence what you need is a wrinkle reducing eye cream. There are a few available on the market that can reduce wrinkles whilst promoting healthy skin. Some of these wrinkle reducers are left on over night and then washed off, whilst others are meant to be used under makeup or as a lotion alone. The severity of the eye lines you are trying to minimize or smooth will probably make a big difference in which type of antiaging eye cream you decide to use. For more deep lines or crows feet, you will probably want to sue an overnight treatment, couple given that a leave on treatment. And for softer lines that need just a bit of smoothing, a leave on conditioner should do the trick.

2. Below the eye
Here the most talked-about complaint is dark eye circles. Again in the market, there are tons of “miracle” creams that claim that it can zap your dark circles away. However, more likely than not, those creams probably do not work. What is the best bet? Get sufficient beauty sleep and go to bed early every night! However, one can always hope that one day that such a cream can be invented!

3. The eyelashes
Ah, these flutterers are the heart pullers! Although not your ordinary antiaging eye cream, the products available for your eyelashes are enriched given a complex of lecithin along given plant extracts. It’s meant to promote growth of the lashes, and is clinically proven to do so whilst conditioning your existing lashes. Ample Internet websites and beauty stores carry this type of treatment, so your best bet is to shop around for particular differences in products as well as price.

Besides to worrying about wrinkles, lines, and brittle eyelashes, we simply want to defy our age. Who doesn’t want to keep one’s youth? Given that age defying antiaging eye cream alternatives, defying age is a possibility. There are some good firming cream and glow enhancers available out there on the market but the line tends to also offer natural choices such as chamomile antiaging eye cream, and herbal treatments.

Bottomline, a much raved product may or may not produce the same result for everyone. Some might even have allergic reaction. Hence, it is advisable that before you plurge on that next “pot of hope”, do request for a sample to test out the suitability.

Anti Aging Skin Care Products Explained

Sunday, September 27th, 2009

Wrinkles happen to all of us sooner or later. It’s an inevitable part of life. Anti aging creams and skin care products can help minimize the look of wrinkles and slow the aging process. There are many products on the market and choosing the right product can be very difficult. Learning about the products available and what they do can help you select the best solutions for your skin. Reading reviews of anti aging creams is a great way to learn about products that may be beneficial for your skin.

Exfoliation products are effective for removing dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. Exfoliating the dead skin reveals new skin underneath the dead cells. This aids in cell turnover, which decreases naturally as we age. Alpha hydroxy acids are used in many exfoliation products and anti aging creams. These acids remove the top layer of the skin and have regenerative effects on the skin.

Alpha hydroxy acids are used in both home and professional exfoliation products, such as scrubs, peels and anti aging creams. Home products are generally less intense and have a lower risk of damage to the skin. The strength you choose will depend on your skin type, the number and depth of wrinkles.

Topical alpha hydroxy acid creams assist in shedding dead skin cells. The most common alpha hydroxy acids used in anti aging creams are lactic acid and glycolic acid. Over the counter products contain between two and ten percent concentration. Prescription products contain over ten percent.

Burning and itching is the most common side effect and the degree of the side effects depends on the strength. Prescription products will cause more side effects than over the counter products. If you experience any side effects, stop using the product. Alpha hydroxy acids increase sun sensitivity, so you will need to be careful. Avoid the sun or wear a strong sunscreen and a hat when you are using these products.

Facial scrubs are also used to exfoliate the skin. Be sure to scrub gently and don’t apply too much pressure. The motion should be perpendicular to the wrinkles for best results. Follow the directions on the package to get the greatest benefit from the products. Be sure to rinse thoroughly after using the scrub. Don’?t use these products too often. Once or twice a week is generally enough. Information on the frequency of use will be found in the manufacturer’s directions.

Under eye anti aging creams are formulated especially for the skin in the eye area. This skin is much thinner than the rest of the skin on the face. Fewer oils are produced in this area as well. Under eye products are made to reduce dark circles and puffiness that is common under the eye area, as well as fine lines and wrinkles.

Eye products work by temporarily constricting the blood vessels in the eye area. This helps prevent fluid from building up in this area and causing puffiness. Anti aging creams for the eyes firm the skin in this area as well. They should be applied with a light tapping motion. Start at the outer corner and move in toward the inner corner of the eye.

To find which anti aging creams and skin care products work best, it’s helpful to refer to independent reviews and comparison rankings. In this way you can learn from the experience of others, saving you time, money, and frustration.

What drugstore product works great on dark circles and under eye wrinkles?

Sunday, September 27th, 2009

I have very dark circles and under eye wrinkles so I need help getting the fastest, best product out there found at either walmart, walgreens, etc.

Do an ANSWERS SEARCH and you will find that many have tried all the under eye creams, home remedies (and caffeine rollers) and say they have not been effective,
These safe, natural treatments really work and can quickly and permanently get rid of them.

This is a response I received from wannabeblue28:
"Hi Mukunda M. I have just been rubbing my face with oil using my fingers and hands and It has made a HUGE difference in my complexion after just one night. …… My skin looks so much tighter everywhere and i no longer have bags under my eyes! Thank you so much for your post, I have been suffering with acne and under-eye circles since i was young."

She had seen an answer I gave about how vigorous face massaging with natural unadulterated oils had permanently got rid of my acne and also removed my bags/circles. The massages greatly tighten skin under and around the eye area and the bags go away.

The most helpful ones are:
(Using both hands together)
(1) Do long up and down sweeps close to nose from chin area up to near eyes.
(2) Do another up and back at an angle from chin point to cheek bone.
(3) Do fast up and down massage close to eye from cheek bones at an angle of 45 degrees (on your crows feet).
Do for several minutes daily – will markedly tighten skin in eye area and diminish the circles in the first two or three days. Use any oil. Olive is good.
IMPORTANT: To avoid skin pulling first make facial skin taught by partially opening mouth and pulling lips firmly back against teeth (tightens most of face)

Also, again making skin taught first, do a slow circular massage with finger tips around cheek bones but not all the way up to the eyes. Outer stroke should be on the eye socket bone (start close to nose to about 1" past end of eye) Return one just under cheek bone. Do about 6 times. After skin adjusts (about 3 weeks) you can increase that to 12 and do faster..
Use any natural oil. Extra Virgin olive oil works well for many
Additionally facial yoga exercises help a great deal. Find on Youtube. Do the "The lion face" and try to hold for 30 seconds. A variation of that is protruding the tongue as if trying to touch tip of nose with tip of tongue.

YOGA MEDITATION is a great help.and is easy to do. It enables you to completely relax and gives you deep, restful sleep. 6 hours of restful sleep is considerably more beneficial than 8 or more hours of non restful sleep.

Do the spa treatments for reducing eye puffiness really help?

Sunday, September 27th, 2009

i want to go to a salon and try one of their treatments for reducing eye puffiness/wrinkles around the eye area…but i want to know if anyone else has tried them and what they think.

i have never tried the salon but i use cold ice packs under my eyes for puffiness.

While sitting up, apply a cool tap water compress to the skin under your eyes for a few minutes. You can also use chilled cucumber slices, a refrigerated gel mask or chilled, damp tea bags.

thats something you can try if you want to save some money first. if you have the money then try it….you really wont know until you try : )
